Well the ebay hoarders have made this near impossible to find for my 7year old.
My Walmart has received NO stock in 2 months of these rodents , they have had an empty shelf for so long other crap is placed in it with the tags staying the same lol.

2 local Toys R US's hardly get any supply of them , maybe 1 set of the hammies and no accessories.

I wonder if the factory isnt making enough or something.

Ebay , absolutely disgusting on over pricing.

Tan Hamster , seems to fetch 25-50 bucks consistantly , lol these are 8 at Wallymart.

I wish I could have used my resellers license to become a distributor and sold for normal price for people but the company was vastly back ordered till next year.

I have found in previous years that if there is a hot item and WalMart HASN'T advertised it in their BF ad; I can go in after midnight and it will be on the shelves. I think they hold this stock just before the big day so you can get everything. I have been successful in getting a Wii, Moon Sand, some sort of digital pet all this way. The best part is because they are not sale items you can buy them as soon as they are put on shelves. I hope this helps.

there is a guy on another message board I go to that while everyone and their brother is storming Walmart, Target, and TRU is finding them by the dozen at CVS of all places. Nobody believed him until he posted pics. I think he said so far he has over 100 of them and he's selling them on ebay at $30-$40 a pop before shipping and can't buy them fast enough.

Not so sure I'd have given away my secret just yet because now everyone will be stalking the drug stores also. lol

On the lookout for smokin good deals

I found out in my area that the stores can only sell a certain amount of pets each day even if they have some in stock in the back room. A local TRU got some bad PR the other day a mom took her 8 year old to get one because she got good grades in school. The mom didn't see any on the shelves so she asked a stock boy if they had any in the back room. The employee went and found one for her. When the mom went to pay for it the manager refused to sell it to her because of this policy.

My wife found 2 of them at yesterday it is a hit or miss.

I ended my search for these silly things.

My mother has 4....one she ordered on Ebay back in October so it was only $24 with the shipping (still more than $8 Walmart but not as bad as now) She got 2 that one night at Walmart that they were in the ad...and then she happened upon one being returned at Shopko so snatched that up. That gives my daughter the two she wanted, and then my brothers step daughter gets two.

The houses and accessories were hit or miss, and we did end up finding a bunch when we would be in stores for other things and just grab what hey had. So since October we got a bunch of the accessories to go with the hamsters for Christmas.

I saw yesterday that Shopko FINALLY limited them. They used to just let you buy as many as you waned when they came in, now they limited them to 6. (still a lot considering Walmart limits to TWO)

I searched the local CL and actually there is NOTHING on there. Surprised by that one.
